The Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) is the new GRI Certified Training Provider in Arabic-speaking Middle East countries

The Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) in partnership with Schema has been approved by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) as the new GRI Training Providers for Arabic-speaking Middle East countries. Through this collaboration, CSE and Schema are offering the Certified GRI Training program in the region of Middle East for the effective creation of CSR/ Sustainability Reports in alignment with the new GRI G3.1 Guidelines.

It is worth mentioning that CSE is the first organization to provide advanced CSR Trainings in Middle East, since 2005, to more than 400 Executives including ADGAS, Saeed & Mohammed Al Naboodah Holding, Zain, Al Habtoor Leighton Group Chalhoub Group, DEWA, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Borouge, The Emirates Group, ZADCO, Abu Dhabi Ports Company, Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bank Muscat, BMMI and has carried out numerous projects with leading  organizations such as Dubai Government Executive Council, Dubai Customs, Savola, Agthia,  DIFC, TECOM, KAEC.

The GRI Certified Training assists Managers and Sustainability executives to gain insight on the conceptual introduction and preparation of the GRI reporting process that covers all the aspects of GRI reporting: from dialogue with stakeholders and credibility of the reporting process, to the definition of content, monitoring and communication of the final CSR/ Sustainability Report.

GRI Training will take place at different locations in Middle East in January and through 2012:
• Doha, Qatar, 21 & 22 January 2012
• Muscat, Oman, 24 & 25 January 2012
• Manama, Bahrain, 28 & 29 January 2012
• Dubai, UAE, 03 & 04 June 2012

The Certified GRI Training is provided as part of CSE’s series of successful Global Certified Training Programs, such as the “Certified Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner Training” held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with the most recent one, held in October 2011 in Abu Dhabi & the “Certified Carbon Footprint Practitioner’’, which have benefited over 5,000 executives in leading companies in over 25 countries around the globe, since 2005.

About the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is a non-profit organization that works towards a sustainable global economy by providing sustainability reporting guidance.  GRI is an international non-profit organization that broke new ground by developing a framework for the issuance of corporate and organizational CSR reports.
